Finally….she has arrived and here are some shots from our recent trip to SF…I didn’t realize how much things I’m missing from not visiting and touring San Francisco.  Here are some shots that I was able to capture….I need to take some time and shoot again….

Here are a few shots from the Kresta shoot.  Just a few behind the scenes.  

Just some older pictures that i found.  They seem interesting…I don’t know, I wanted to see how it looks converted to black and white.  

This girl is crazy and a roughian….very tough yet girlish…all I know is this girl has as much poses as her change of clothes.  Here are a few shots of her, I will keep trying to put up some of the ones that I really like.  

I got a chance to take some pictures of my relatives….here are a few shots from the session.  I wish I had a chance to take more but there was a sudden black out that ended the session early.  I tried to find the fuse box but was not able to find it at all.  The place just got too dark and I have to admit, it got a little scary…Being that we were in an old armory made it a little bit creepy.  

Im still working on black and white…I swear I need to practice everything…I did try also a sepia type color scheme with a texture…kinda cool..

So many things going on in this world…and so many things to do and things to be done but first and foremost, RIP Michael Jackson.  

Okay since I was able to say my piece, I would like to say that this group of artists that we got a chance to photograph are very talented and great company.  Very humble, down to earth and simply fun.  I had a great time setting up the studio with Amari and Mad to get our shots going.  Like I said, what a fun time laughing, pressing camera buttons and flashing the lights…..This time, the behind the scene shots I converted to black and white.  Im just trying to understand black and whites a lot more.  I feel as if I don’t know anything about it.  

But….Here you go….

Okay, so shooting in the studio is rough, I’m finding out the hard way by doing it and learning from it.  All forms of criticism is accepted specially the constructive ones…Those are the ones I really need…although it pops the balloons from time to time but it is all for the better.  If we don’t embrace criticism we will all be sailing on an ocean with no water….(Does that last sentence even make any sense)….

Okay…so Chev’s music video went quite well…we got things cookin on Saturday and simmered through everything on Sunday…It was fun and productive, and it turned out pretty well considering our crew consisted of 3 people and with the help of 6 Fingers from time to time with the equipment and lighting….A BIG thank you to everybody that participated and thanks for all the folks that showed up and gave a hand here and there also….

Now as far as taking some pictures, I brought my small point and shoot camera and caught a few shots that I really like while we were shooting at the Berkeley location…I have 4 Black and Whites that i want to  share..

As for the music video pictures,  these few pics are from a 94 pictures brewed music video production…It was a shoot featuring the artist Chev.   It was a 2 day shoot from saturday through sunday, from Berkeley to Benicia….Great times is all I can say…I just can’t get enough of these things….

As far as weddings go, I can’t get enough of all the emotions that run through these special occasions from the bridal party to onlookers and rubber neckers.  From the outside looking in, it amazes me all the people in this world there will always be 2 people that will meet each other and fall deeply in love.  Whether they meet for a short period of time or they grew up knowing each other, that Love thing is the same and very hard to explain.

Just digging in my personal collection of photos and I thought these were worthy enough to put into to view.  These were in color but I felt it was a little more interesting to see them in black and white and in high contrast.  I just wanted to showcase some of the band members, preferably the members with the instruments because of the faces they make when they’re in the musical zone they are in.
